But when she discovers serious discrepancies in the original investigation, Kate starts to question whether she ever really knew the man she loved so much. Was Charlie murdered? REVIEW:

With this, her second offering, Ruth Newman takes the reader to a whole new world of scare and demonstrates why she’s fast becoming a name within the genre to set your standards by. There’s a strong female lead, twisting plot outlines and an overall care that demonstrates attention to detail. Back that up with strong, believable dialogue, a sparse descriptiveness in writing style and you know that this author believes in neither unnecessary filling or wasting words which keeps this offering pretty streamlined which then allows reader to get to the guts pretty quickly.
